Rubelmann residential adviser Michael Land is organizing farewell events for “Ruby” alums and residents, starting Saturday, April 12. Rubelmann will be replaced with a new residence hall, slated to open in August 2015.

Los Angeles-based artist Won Ju Lim is the 2013-14 Henry L. and Natalie E. Freund Teaching Fellow in the Sam Fox School. Lim’s exhibit “Raycraft is Dead” opens today, April 11, at the Saint Louis Art Museum.

Mario Castro, MD, has been named the Alan A. and Edith L. Wolff Professor of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at the School of Medicine. He is a noted authority on asthma and other respiratory diseases.

‘500 Clown Trapped’ at Edison tomorrow

At once bouncy and philosophical, 500 Clown combines acrobatics, circus arts, commedia dell’arte and in-your-face improvisation to create a unique brand of physical, action-packed theater. On Saturday, April 12, the Chicago troupe will return to Edison Theatre with “500 Clown Trapped,” its first all-ages show.

Pow Wow 2014: The benefits of education

Participants in the 24th annual Pow Wow take part in the Grand Entry in the Field House April 5. The annual event, hosted by the Kathryn M. Buder Center for American Indian Studies at the Brown School, offered visitors and participants a full day of dancing, singing, arts, crafts and food.
